"As an adviser, Paul was very willing to listen, build up a picture of our context and recognise what we had already tried in a non-judgmental approach. From this starting point he accurately and perceptively identified our areas for development and focus, delivering some excellent and meticulously planned professional development sessions which empowered and enthused teaching staff to try approaches, explore alternative methods and take risks. This was based on his own experiences as a class teacher, a senior leader, adviser, and experiences gleaned from research and first hand overseas experience of a range of education systems and pedagogy."
